Bereavement

     The Floodtide Restaurant in Mystic is the perfect place for a bereavement gathering.  The upper dining room can accommodate up to 75 people, while the Lower dining room accommodates up to 35.  The dinning rooms can be separated for privacy or combined to seat up to 110 guests.  Both rooms offer a wonderful view of the sound.  The Lounge & Bar area could be used to accommodate more guests.

 For larger gatherings, the Halley Mansion can accommodate from 100-225 guests.  Located on the highest point in Mystic, the view is breathtaking, the grounds spectacular, and the mansion itself graciously appointed.

We offer a variety of menus for these occasions.  Enclosed are samples of Deli Buffet, Lunch Buffet, and Plated Luncheon menus.

Tour Bus Operators

The Flood Tide restaurant offers special luncheon and dinner menus available for bus tour groups . Reservations requested in advance. Call (860) 572-8140.  

Buffet Breakfast served daily 7:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Our morning buffet features fresh squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage, corn beef hash, hot and cold cereals, freshly baked pastries and muffins, seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt and our own home made granola, coffee and tea.

Meeting Facilities

Our meeting facilities include a variety of room sizes to accommodate your needs from very small to groups up to 40 persons. Our wedding facilities will accommodate from 100 to 200 according to the time of year and include:

Drawing Room
The Drawing Room (20 x 40) will seat 40 people auditorium style, 30 student style or 30 at conference style. The room is available for full days (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).

Board Room
The Board Room (18 x 22) will seat up to 10 at the Board Room Table and is available for full days (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).

Break Rooms
Break Rooms vary in size: all will seat 12-15 comfortably. These rooms are available at no charge during your meeting.

Business Services Available at Flood Tide Restaurant & The Mansion

 
 Meeting set-up includes: Sparkling water, pads, pens and flip charts. Audio-visual equipment is available. Copy service is also available at a slight additional charge. During break time, the Inn can provide food service ranging from light refreshment to extravagant buffets.

Group dining may be arranged at The Inn or at our elegant and highly acclaimed Flood Tide Restaurant, located on the premises. receptions and cocktail parties may be held on either facility. Groups of up to 200 are accommodated at The Inn, while the Flood Tide handles smaller parties.

Special Arrangements can be made for a wide range of activities in the area for your free-time, spousal and conference guest programs. Spend time at the Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic Aquarium and enjoy other activities such as sailing, golf, tennis, and, of course, shopping. A successful meeting must walk a fine line between the necessities of business and the luxuries of pleasure. Though we mean serious business, we also offer ways to unwind: outdoor tennis, an outdoor pool, boating or canoeing in our own cove, a hot spa, formal gardens, and walking trails. Also available within two blocks of the Inn is free use of an indoor pool, a full line of Nautilus equipment and weight room, sauna and gymnasium.

Within walking distance from the Inn is the famous Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic Marinelife Aquarium, and factory outlet shopping. The Foxwood and Mohegan casinos are located eight miles from the Inn.
