Wedding Planning

Weddings and Receptions

Chances are that your wedding day will be one of your fondest memories. That is one of the reasons why where you choose to have these festivities is very important. You need to be sure that every detail of your reception will be taken care of for you so that you can concentrate on the people that you love.

The Inn at Mystic has been hosting elegant weddings and receptions since 1981. With each of the hundreds we have done we have learned something new and different. All of that experience is yours when you put yourself in the hands of your wedding coordinator. From the day you first view the Inn, your wedding will be our prime concern. Whether you choose a formal sit down dinner, a buffet, a cocktail reception, or a stations reception the menu will be of your choosing. Our Executive Chef from the Flood Tide Restaurant will help you build a menu which is uniquely yours. Flowers in the mansion will be coordinated with the colors you have chosen for your bridal bouquets.

About Us

The Special Mystique of Inn at Mystic

The Sheltered Coves of Mystic Harbor, the tang of fresh salt air, the warm hospitality and comfort of a New England Inn, the elegant cuisine of the Flood Tide Restaurant -- this is the special mystique of The Inn at Mystic where every season has its charm.
Spring-warblers and cherry blossoms; Summer-sun, sea and English gardens; Fall and Winter-fireplaces, peaceful woods, serene beaches. And in every season you will enjoy picturesque Mystic, Connecticut.
Delighting you, at every season, is our ultimate goal. We're carrying on a family tradition begun in Maine in 1944. We brought the same dedication to hospitality, service, and good food with us to Mystic in 1963. We believe it's this commitment to your comfort and pleasure-a commitment heartily shared by our staff-which keeps people coming back. Over half our guests are returnees or referrals.
Our Staff is especially proud of their contribution to the award-winning record of The Inn at Mystic. You'll find that they have a unique talent for anticipating your needs and making your visit relaxing and enjoyable. Our awards acknowledge more than our gracious service. You have a choice of a variety of luxurious or more modest accommodations in a series of buildings carefully landscaped into 15 acres of wooded hillside. You will experience the ambiance of turn-of-the-century furnishings enhanced by the most modern amenities.
